Strawberry Fields.

Today we went strawberry picking for the first time.

We walked into a field that went on forever
Filled with nothing but juicy, red, So-perfect-they-look-fake strawberries, all ripe for the pickin'.

We spent time with our little friend Landon
who had his eyes on the buckets of strawberries the entire time!

We made sure they were good.
Again. And again. And again.

We would yell in excitement to each other whenever we found a perfect strawberry, and promptly stick it in our bucket.
Or our mouth.

He was so proud of his beautiful and wonderful and perfect fruits.
I was so proud of his colorful vocabulary.

And on this day a new tradition was born for us.

And when summer is here, and we will always remember

Strawberry fields, forever.

  1. OH! LOVE these shots. The color is fabulous. Makes me miss strawberry picking as a kid...we always use to go with my aunts. So much fun. We ate way more than we picked. ;)
